The Chapel in the Fields

Venue

Narcissi in Chapel Window

The Chapel in the Fields is available as a venue for spirituality, creativity and worship.

It can be booked on an occasional basis depending on dates and availability.

We offer a warm welcome, a beautifully refurbished Chapel along with a small Hall and an open-plan Kitchen. We also have outside seating areas which can be used for quiet reflection etc., depending on the weather.

Away Days and Quiet Days can be accommodated at The Chapel and we hire the building for £95 for a period from 9:00am - 4:00pm. Or £50 for a half day.

Facilities include parking for ten cars in the car park, toilets, the kitchen has coffee maker, fridge, cooker and kettles. The Chapel has seating for 60 people maximum, but works better with much smaller numbers. The Chapel has two projectors installed, using HDMI connections, the images are projected on each end of the Chapel walls.

We can occasionally provide food for groups wanting to use The Chapel. As an alternative, we suggest that you either bring your own, or make use of the two pubs not too far away The Rope and Anchor or The Axe and Cleaver.

If you need further information on any aspect of using The Chapel, or would like to explore having someone from The Chapel in the Fields host/lead an Away Day/Quiet Day for your group, please phone Kevin on 07854 988632 or complete the booking enquiry form.

Integrated into the ministry of the Project called The Chapel in the Fields is Godly Play and some of the resources are kept in The Chapel. In addition, we also have a small woodwork shop, where some of the Godly Play resources are made.
